Walking Soccer

Walking Soccer is a low-impact version of the game that makes soccer accessible for everyone—older adults, those recovering from injuries, or anyone who wants a fun, less demanding way to stay active. It’s soccer at a slower pace, but with all the same camaraderie, laughter, and love for the game.

Who Plays

  • Adults who want to keep playing the sport they love without the strain.

  • Individuals looking for a safe, active way to recover or stay fit.

  • Anyone of any age who enjoys friendly competition and social connection.

In a recent scrimmage, our players logged more than two miles during an hour of play—proof that walking soccer is both active and enjoyable!

How It Works

  • Small-sided games (6v6 or 7v7)

  • No offsides

  • Ball height restriction (nothing above 6 ft)

  • No running, no shoulder charges, just good soccer and great company

  • The Walking Rule - Walking is defined as ‘always having at least one foot in contact with the ground.’  Trotting is allowed.
