TSA is excited to introduce Walking Soccer — a low-impact version of the game that makes soccer accessible for older adults, those recovering from injury, players looking to improve ball skills, and anyone looking for a fun, social way to stay active!
It’s soccer at a walking pace — no running, no slide tackles, and no pressure — just great passes, good company, and plenty of fun.
How It Works
Walking Soccer is played 6v6 or 7v7 with simple rules that keep the game safe and fun:
No running (one foot on the ground at all times — trotting is okay!)
No heading or slide tackles
No contact such as charging or pushing
No offsides
Ball height limit: under 6 feet
Kick-ins or roll-ins instead of throw-ins
The focus is on control, teamwork, and enjoyment, not speed.
When & Where
TSA Walking Soccer Member Scrimmages
Tuesdays, 7:00–8:30 PM
Meadows Soccer Complex, Field 5W
In a recent scrimmage, members logged more than two miles in an hour — proof that Walking Soccer is both enjoyable and a solid workout.
